University of Manchester alumni who have forged stellar careers researching the Moon, its surface and its rocks: <a href=\"https:\/\/science.gsfc.nasa.gov\/sed\/bio\/natalie.m.curran\">Natalie Curran<\/a>, who joined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/\">NASA<\/a> as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Francesca-Mcdonald-2\">Francesca McDonald<\/a>, now a Moon Exploration Scientist with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esa.int\/\">European Space Agency<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Both progressed via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ees.manchester.ac.uk\/\">Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences<\/a> at Manchester &#8211; Nat studying an MEarthSci in Geology and Planetary Science, and Fran starting on the BSc Geology course before changing to the MEarthSci integrated master&#8217;s &#8211; and both went on to complete their PhDs here too.<\/p>\n<p>Who better, therefore, to discuss the Moon and our relationship with it?
