Hear from Dr Ben Parslew, researcher and lecturer in Aerospace Engineering, about his journey to becoming an Aerospace engineer.
Ben studied an undergraduate degree Aerospace Engineering and then went on to study MSc in Applied Mathematics– both at The University of Manchester. Upon graduation he worked as secondary school teacher before returning to the University to complete a PhD, where he undertook a project with BAE systems. He then became a researcher and lecturer in the Department of MACE and he teaches the unit Aerospace Group Design Project in the 4th year of the MEng degree among other things.
