Abstract Submission

Please use this template, following the instructions provided in the document.
When saving your abstract please save the file replacing ‘your_name’ with your first and last name. Email your abstract to manchester.nanosims@gmail.com including the word ‘abstract’ in the subject line.
Please indicate whether you would prefer to give an oral or poster presentation. If no preference is given it will be listed as a poster presentation. If there are too many requests for oral presentations the organising committee will select which abstracts will be presented orally.
Accepted abstracts will be printed in colour in the programme and distributed at registration.
Oral Presentations:
Oral Presentations must not exceed 20 minutes, including 5 minutes for questions, unless agreed otherwise.
The lecture theatre is equipped with an overhead projector with facilities to present from the lecture theatre computer (PowerPoint 2010 supported) or from a laptop. To speed up transition times, presentations should be brought on a USB memory stick and loaded onto the lecture theatre computer prior to the start of the session.
Poster Presentations:
Boards will be available for poster presentations with the following dimensions:
1.10 m (wide) x 1.10 m (high), portrait is preferred for A0 size posters.
